Polysense Autocontrol automatically adjusts the production line based on what the cameras see in real time. When quality drifts, the system adapts the peeling, cutting or optical sorter settings itself, before waste happens. Output stays stable no matter how much the potatoes vary or which shift is running the line. Results at potato processors: up to 5% higher yield, up to 40% less waste and up to 37% less operator dependency. Autocontrol works with existing machines and systems (PLC, SCADA, MES).

Polysense Autocontrol closes the loop between inspection and control in potato processing. Inline AI cameras check 100% of production in real time: remaining peel, overpeeling, greening, rot, spots, breakage and dimensions. When quality drifts, the system adjusts the settings of the peeler, cutting line or optical sorter itself, without operator intervention. Where quality today is followed up with samples and manual adjustments, the line now corrects itself continuously. Autocontrol works on existing machines and connects with PLC, SCADA and MES.
Added value for the user (in commercial terms, user-friendliness ...)
Up to 5% higher yield and up to 40% less waste, because deviations are corrected before they turn into losses. Consistent quality no matter which shift is running the line: up to 37% less operator dependency. No new line needed, since the system works with existing machines. Operators and quality teams see what is happening and why in one overview, with objective data instead of samples.
Added value for the further sustainability and professionalization of the potato sector.
Less waste means fewer wasted potatoes and less energy and water per ton of finished product. By measuring and adjusting every batch objectively, processors get more out of the same raw material, even when harvest quality varies. Knowledge that today sits in the heads of experienced operators is captured in data and automated control. This makes the sector less dependent on scarce skilled staff and brings measurable, professional quality management.
