A heavy-duty belt has been chosen for rotating the drum. Hereby, the drum is supported by idlers. The brush rollers rotate via v-belts and are fitted with ball bearings. Our design also ensures that there is a maximum distance between the brush rollers of 3 mm, resulting in minimal product loss.
The premise behind Murre Technologies’ development of the polisher was to minimise maintenance. The machine is divided into compartments so that the drive components operate in a dry environment. When actual maintenance has to be carried out, Murre Technologies used the characteristic sectional doors to ensure that the machine is very accessible for maintenance. The motors are set up on a floor and are easily accessible by removing the covers at the top of the machine. For replacing brush rollers, supports are supplied on which you can place the brush roller and from there the brush roller can be mounted in position.
The output of the machine is equipped with an infinitely adjustable door with which the layer thickness of the product can be easily be set.

Briefly describe what is NEW. This explanation will be submitted to the expert group and will be decisive in the evaluation and selection of the most newsworthy entries. (max. textarea: 600 characters)
The MT Polisher stands out for its very low maintenance requirements and maintenance-friendly design. Drive components are housed in dry compartments, protecting them from moisture and contamination and minimizing wear. In addition, various components are designed to be separable, allowing parts to be replaced individually without extensive disassembly. For example, a standard ball bearing can be replaced without disassembling the entire stern shaft. This saves time and reduces maintenance costs.
Added value for the user (in commercial terms, user-friendliness ...)
The MT Polisher significantly reduces total maintenance costs in both spare parts and labour. Designed for easy access, dry drive compartments and replaceable components, it enables faster and simpler maintenance with less disassembly. This results in fewer maintenance hours, lower spare parts costs and higher machine availability. By reducing the risk and duration of downtime, the MT Polisher contributes to a lower total cost of ownership and a more reliable production process.
Added value for the further sustainability and professionalization of the potato sector.
The MT Polisher contributes to sustainability by significantly reducing spare parts consumption. Components require less frequent replacement and can be replaced individually, reducing material consumption and maintenance hours. Its increased reliability also helps to minimize unplanned downtime and production interruptions. This results in lower maintenance costs, higher technical availability, and a more reliable production process. Maintenance within potato processing therefore becomes simpler, more efficient, and more predictable.
