Potatoes, carrots, beetroot, celeriac, pumpkin: vegetables that differ in shape, skin and texture, yet must all be peeled with the same yield. The "Eternity" Mod. SPB200 steam peeler peels with steam, batch by batch: the steam acts only on the outer layer, so the skin comes off and the product stays intact, with minimal waste and no cooked taste. The oversized peeling vessel keeps capacity high even when raw material is less than optimal and longer steam times are needed. Fast 45-second cycles on fresh potatoes: loading, peeling and discharge follow one another without interruption, for high-capacity lines. The pressure vessel is fully AISI 316L as standard, rated for 4 million cycles: long service life, no costly downtime. Also standard: ducting to the condenser, an AISI 304 exhaust vessel and a steam accumulator; a mirrored version is available to suit the plant layout. Four models, from 6 to 36 ton/h, referred to potatoes in input peeled at 18 bar.

Briefly describe what is NEW. This explanation will be submitted to the expert group and will be decisive in the evaluation and selection of the most newsworthy entries. (max. textarea: 600 characters)
The "ETERNITY" SPB200 Series steam peeler introduces a pressure vessel entirely made of stainless steel AISI 316L, with a design pressure up to 24 barg and calculated for over 4 million pressure cycles: at least 6 years at 5,000 production hours per year, with no costly repairs or vessel replacement. The steam exhaust phase is innovative too: the spent steam is condensed with recycled process water, so the evacuation is fast, gentle and energy-efficient, with no dry expansion and no components subject to rapid wear.
Added value for the user (in commercial terms, user-friendliness ...)
The added value for the user is concrete and measurable: lower peel loss, which means more finished product from every ton of raw material; lower water consumption, with benefits on running costs and environmental impact; and a lower overall investment, thanks to the longer technical lifespan of the machine. The result is a lower cost per processed ton and a fast payback. Added to this are easy access for maintenance and the mirrored configuration, which adapts to the plant lay-out.
Added value for the further sustainability and professionalization of the potato sector.
The contribution to the sustainability of the potato sector is direct: lower water consumption, thanks to the reuse of process water in the steam condensing phase, and lower organic waste levels from the process, because low peeling losses turn more raw material into finished product. Less water, less waste and less energy per processed ton mean a reduced environmental footprint and a more responsible use of a precious agricultural resource, in line with the sustainability goals of the supply chain.
