Tubers and roots come from the field with soil and stones: removing them before washing protects downstream machines and yield. The destoning and washing group Mod. LF363, in AISI 304 stainless steel, combines the destoner Mod. F63 and the drum washing machine Mod. L3/L3P. In the truncated conical tank the rotor keeps the product floating and conveys stones to the bottom, with recycling electropump and stone extraction system; a rubber elevator is also available, recommended when the stone content is high and irregular. In the rotating drum the pieces scrub against each other under the nozzle jets, with water consumption from 0 to 10% of hourly capacity. The decantation and recycling group completes the line: the drum filter Mod. F60/8 retains solids, the conical tank decants earth, collected and removed by two screws, and clarified water overflows into the collecting tank, where a 60 m³/h pump feeds it back to washing. Less water consumption, less discharge.
