Lite-Trac Delta W1000

The Lite-Trac Delta W1000 is a compact and versatile self-propelled tool carrier, developed for maximum flexibility across different crops and applications.

The machine stands out with 4-wheel steering, 1 metre of hydraulic track width adjustment and a very low operating weight. The prototype weighs just under 5,000 kg. The redesigned version is expected to weigh around 6,000 kg, which remains exceptionally low for a machine with these capabilities.

The Delta can be equipped with both front and rear lifting systems, making it suitable for a wide range of applications, including spot spraying, hoeing, spraying, seeding, mowing and field maintenance. The quick hydraulic track adjustment allows the machine to be easily adapted to different crops and row spacings.

A versatile machine combining low soil pressure with maximum flexibility and usability.

Briefly describe what is NEW. This explanation will be submitted to the expert group and will be decisive in the evaluation and selection of the most newsworthy entries. (max. textarea: 600 characters)
The Lite-Trac Delta W1000 combines very low operating weight with 4-wheel steering and 1 metre of hydraulic track width adjustment. The redesigned machine is expected to weigh around 6,000 kg. The track width can be hydraulically adjusted from 2 to 3 metres, allowing the machine to quickly adapt to different crops and row spacings. Combined with front and rear lifting systems, this creates one compact and highly versatile machine for a wide range of applications.

Added value for the user (in commercial terms, user-friendliness ...)
The Lite-Trac Delta W1000 provides one versatile machine for multiple operations and crops. Its hydraulically adjustable track width allows the machine to be quickly adapted to different row spacings. The combination of 4-wheel steering, low operating weight and front and rear lifting systems provides excellent manoeuvrability and versatility. This allows one machine to be used for a wide range of operations throughout the season, increasing utilisation and potentially reducing the need for multiple specialised machines.

Added value for the further sustainability and professionalization of the potato sector.
The Lite-Trac Delta W1000 contributes to more sustainable and professional potato production through its low operating weight and resulting low soil pressure. 4-wheel steering and hydraulically adjustable track width enable accurate operation and following of existing tramlines. Using one machine for multiple operations increases utilisation and can reduce the number of machine passes required. This helps minimise soil compaction, improve resource efficiency and support a more future-oriented farming operation.
