Briefly describe what is NEW. This explanation will be submitted to the expert group and will be decisive in the evaluation and selection of the most newsworthy entries. (max. textarea: 600 characters)
The ROTAX positioning head is a technologically innovative concept with the potential to be a true game changer. Unlike conventional systems that receive a bag from only one side, the ROTAX positioning head can receive a bag from two sides. This significantly reduces the number of rotations required, resulting in higher palletizing speeds. While a conventional palletizer can stack up to 36 bags per minute, the ROTAX positioning head can increase this capacity to 50 bags per minute, representing a 39% increase in throughput. This speed is sufficient to keep pace with two packaging lines simult

Added value for the user (in commercial terms, user-friendliness ...)
The ROTAX positioning head not only increases palletizing capacity, but also makes the entire palletizing process more efficient and flexible. By receiving bags from two sides instead of one, fewer rotation movements are required. This saves valuable time and enables higher throughput without increasing the workload on the machine. With capacities of up to 50 bags per minute, a single palletizer can handle multiple packaging lines. This reduces the need for additional equipment and helps save valuable floor space. Furthermore, fewer movements result in reduced wear on components, leading to l

Added value for the further sustainability and professionalization of the potato sector.
The automation of palletizing processes contributes to a more efficient, sustainable, and professional potato supply chain. By handling products faster, more accurately, and with fewer manual operations, labor costs are reduced and process reliability is improved. In addition, stable and uniform pallets help minimize product damage and optimize transportation efficiency. As a result, potato processors can lower operating costs, reduce their environmental footprint, and better meet the growing demand for quality, food safety, and production continuity.
