HeyStack shows exactly where stock is held in a storage room: by location, storage room and row. Growers can start simply by recording each lot. When more traceability is needed, the same system can track individual boxes, bins or big bags using unique labels. These labels can be scanned with supported handheld scanners. This allows stock recording to grow with the operation, without investing in a complex track-and-trace system from day one.

Every potato grower knows the whiteboard in the shed. We turned it into a mobile and web app that does more than list stock. HeyStack follows the way potato storage works in practice: locations, storage room and row. For each lot, the grower chooses what to record: one total quantity or every box, bin or big bag separately. Each one can carry a unique label. Moves and dispatches are then recorded in the storage room with a Honeywell or Zebra scanner. This puts full track and trace within reach, without a costly and complex system.

You more or less know what is in the shed. Until a buyer asks for exact quantities, someone is looking for a lot or an auditor needs the records. With HeyStack, everyone works from the same live stock position, on desktop and in the app. Variety, size grade, origin, quantity and exact position location, storage room and row are all there. Stock movements, transfers and grading records remain traceable. Item lots can be imported by CSV. Less searching, fewer lists and no debate about which Excel file is right. You simply know what is stored where.
