Optical sorter for cleaning freshly harvested potatoes and onions at a high throughput. Using AI image processing, the product is sorted into various grades, and the user can select which grades to remove. The biggest difference from other systems is the way waste is removed from the product stream. This is done exclusively using air pressure. Therefore, there are no moving parts—such as fingers or cylinders—that can break or become clogged due to frequent use or due to dust or mud!
