RH 24 MSF receiving hoppers are suitable for medium-sized and larger businesses with medium to heavy conditions. The receiving hopper, type RH 24 MSF, is equipped with a 2.4 m wide hopper floor and a corresponding MultiSep unit. The machine and its equipment enables throughput rates of 100 to 140 tonnes per hour under favourable conditions.
The large intake volume combined with the high throughput rate ensures that the transport vehicles are emptied quickly. The specific construction of the receiving hopper, the "active pocket sealings" and the MultiSep cleaning unit are features, that enable maximum cleaning performance and highest throughput capacity at the same time. The infinitely variable drive (standard) allows easy adaptation to various conditions.
The wide range of options enables optimum adaptation to the respective operational requirements. Operation of the hopper is intuitive and convenient with the help of the new IBX 300 ISOBUS operator unit. Numerous assistance systems, such as Remain Control and Capacity Control, take the strain off the operator while maximizing crop protection and storage performance.

This hopper equipped with the “MultiSep” which is THE cleaning solution for removing weeds, haulm, and soil from potatoes.Thanks to this system, difficult-to-control weeds such as nutgrass (“knolcyperus”) and thorn apple can be removed easely from the potato flow.
The segmented roller with the counter roller, grips the weeds and pulls them out of the potato flow. The machine is equipped with 4 segmented rollers with counter rollers, whose spacing, height, and speed can be adjusted hydraulically and continuously. These settings can also be adjusted separately for each pair of 2 rollers.
Added value for the user (in commercial terms, user-friendliness ...)
All settings are hydraulically adjustable via a modern control box with animated displays. The angle of the roller table, speed, spacing, and the height of the segmented roller and counter roller can all be adjusted continuously. The counter roller can also change its direction of rotation at the push of a button. In addition, these settings can be adjusted separately for each pair of 2 rollers.
The segments were specially developed and patented by GRIMME, ensuring equal gripping force across the entire segment lip while remaining gentle on the potatoes at every point.

Weeds are becoming THE major challenge of the future. Crop protection products are becoming more limited, and buffer zones are increasingly becoming standard practice. As a result, weeds are becoming more and more difficult to control. By removing them properly, we can prevent their spread.
By carrying out this process at the end of the cleaning stage on the hopper, the MultiSep system can remove these weeds perfectly. This means factories will no longer have to deal with these weeds entering their washing lines and causing major processing problems.
