Fiwap coordinates the potato sector in Wallonia, from R&D through to the processing industry. As a recognised Pilot Centre, it provides technical, economical and statistical support to the sector through information campaigns, demonstrations, communication, development and services aimed at promoting the quality and value of Walloon produce. It participates in sectoral discussions with regional, federal and European authorities. It provides secretarial support for the GWPPPDT-upr, the NEPG and Belpotato.be Wallonia. Fiwap is funded primarily by the Walloon Region (SPW–ARNE).
