With the MoNo Clipper Inline, Manter takes the next step in the development of recyclable packaging solutions. The machine packs products inline in a fully recyclable mono-material net package. Efficient material usage, reliability and processing speed were key objectives during its development. The PE net is formed directly on the machine into a package and closed with a PE label. As the packaging is made entirely of polyethylene (PE), no metal or plastic clips are required, ensuring that the package remains fully recyclable.
The innovation lies in the combination of mono-material packaging and inline product positioning. In inline packaging, greater tension is placed on the package because products are positioned tightly one after another. As a result, achieving a reliable seal is considerably more challenging than with traditional net packaging. The MoNo Clipper Inline overcomes this challenge through a strong seal between the net and the label, without the use of clips.
This enables packers to benefit from a sustainable solution with low material consumption, reduced maintenance costs, high packaging speeds and an attractive product presentation. In this way, the MoNo Clipper Inline contributes to the further sustainability and professionalisation of the fresh produce industry.
