Starch recovery is a core specialism. In the production of French fries, crisps and flakes, our starch recovery systems capture valuable starch from cutting and flume water using refining sieves, single hydro cyclones and FC vacuum filters. This lowers freshwater consumption and wastewater load (COD and BOD), returns clean process water to the line, and turns recovered starch into a saleable commodity. The systems are self-cleaning and low-maintenance, supplied as complete turnkey installations or as individual technologies retrofitted into existing lines.
