In 2026, Merlo introduced the new TF42.7 Series III.

The Series III is a direct response to the feedback Merlo received from its customers worldwide. Among other features, this completely redesigned model introduces:

In the standard configuration:

• High-visibility FOPS protection, mounted externally above the windshield
• “Safe-Step” ergonomic entry step integrated into the cab floor – “full straight entry”
• Ultra-robust steel fenders front and rear – a unique trademark of this model
• Super-efficient Merlo oil distribution block “MH01”
• Heavy-duty metric oil couplings

Optional:

• ASCS with the ability to program non-OEM Merlo accessories and with precision weighing up to 10 kg
• LED lighting for road travel available as an option
• Introduction of new silent blocks to further reduce vibrations

At the same time, all the highly valued Merlo DNA features are retained:

• The widest cab on the market
• 180° swing-open door
• Unique Merlo portal axles
• Fuel-efficient and powerful Perkins engines
• Merlo’s “high-power, low-consumption” EPD transmission
• Option for the patented CS hydropneumatic suspension cab
• The “only by Merlo” side-shift, combined with chassis leveling

All of this makes the Series III the new benchmark in the 7m & 4T segment.
