ARGUMENTATION ABOUT THE INNOVATIVE CHARACTER

The Herbort steam peeler is the only steam peeler in the world with a static vessel.
This resulted in a very compact steam peeler with some exceptional key features:
- Best steam/product ratio
- High steam peeling pressure (24 bar)
- Even peeling result
- Continuous condensation discharge during peeling
- Fast blow off times
- Very small cooking ring
These features ensure higher efficiency. Due to the higher filling degree of the vessel, we have a large peeling capacity with less energy, steam and water consumption.
The continuous draining of the condensation water ensures an even peeling result and a minimal cooking ring, this results in less peeling waste.



ADDED VALUE FOR THE USER (IN COMMERCIAL TERMS, USER-FRIENDLINESS ...)

Because the steam peeling vessel of the Herbort steam peeler does not rotate, the condensed steam can be discharged and separated very efficiently. This brings numerous advantages.
By keeping each tuber free of condensation, shorter steam peeling times can be maintained and a more even peeling result is achieved. An additional advantage is that the cooking rings remain minimal.
Fixed steam supply and discharge pipes ensure that peeling can take place at a higher steam pressure and that blow-of can take place very quickly. There are no restrictions due to the absence of rotating couplings.

The Herbort steam peeler was developed with quality and durability in mind.
Due to the good condensate drainage, high steam pressure and fast blow-off times, the steam time and thus the amount of steam is reduced to a minimum. Combined with the excellent steam/product ratio, this ensures a very energy-efficient steam peel cycle.
Because the steam peeling vessel does not rotate, we were able to choose a robust one-piece cast vessel. The extremely thick wall of the vessel ensures a long life and thus a durable solution.
