ARGUMENTATION ABOUT THE INNOVATIVE CHARACTER

Due to the increase of onion cultivation in the sandy soil areas, there was a growing demand for an onion haulm topper with a higher capacity (for the reason that the driving speed during harvesting is higher).
The comment often came up that haulm from the adjacent bed was driven into the wheel track, making it difficult to mow.
VSS Machinebouw therefore launched the VSS AMAC LKU 2450 Onion haulm topper 4 rotor.
This haulm topper is equipped with an extra knife rotor with which the left track and the adjacent first row are mowed, ensuring a clean track.
This prevents damage to the crop and increases capacity. 


ADDED VALUE FOR THE USER (IN COMMERCIAL TERMS, USER-FRIENDLINESS ...)

This Onion haulm topper has a greater suction effect due to the 4 rotors that are shorter together than on a 3 rotor haulm topper.
Furthermore, this haulm topper also folds the adjacent track and the next row of onions from the adjacent bed.
This prevents damage/flattening of onions pulled into the wheel track by the haulm.
