After 4 successful editions of the Belgian Potato Quality Award, a number of actors in the Belgian potato sector
have got together to present a new competition: the INNO POTATO AWARD. With the support of the Flemish and
Walloon authorities, they will be putting the spotlight on Belgian growers of potatoes for direct consumption
or processing who have recently introduced innovations in their business in the fi eld of cultivation, storage or
marketing. The projects nominated to take part will be presented to the visitors at INTERPOM | PRIMEURS who will
be able to cast their vote to determine the winner on the fi rst two days of the trade fair. The Inno Potato Award
will then be presented by the Flemish and Walloon Ministers of Agriculture at the offi cial prize-giving ceremony on
Tuesday 30 November at 13.00hrs in hall 6.
